Default Linux Tools For Creating Chapters

Are there any Linux programs for creating Chapters from an MPEG movie?

I'm looking for something similar to VCDEasy, which is a great program btw.

Default VCDImager & Tools

Ok, vcdimager's vcdxbuild will build the vcd and use an .xml with the chapter information. But....how do I determine the number of chapters and entry points?

Say I want to put a chapter every 60 seconds. How do I determine how many chapters to add and the numbers?

VCDEasy calculates it for you, but there is no such program in Linux that I'm aware of.
