Default scvd

Hi,
Recently I downloaded a movie and discovered it was in scvd-format witch is totaly new to me.
I've been searching for a couple of days now how to convert this scvd-image into a avi or mpeg file.
VCDGear doesn't work on cvd

I hope someone can help me a bit !!
(ps. I'm a newbee in this kind of stuff)

SVCD is mpeg. Is your movie on a .BIN image or is it just .MPG?

OK,

I got info on CVD which is the same as SVCD but has lower resolution.

I got no clue on SCVD like you say.

Can you find the movie inside the .BIN, extract it, and try to load it into virtualdubmod ot tmpgenc?

wait,

is the .BIN you're having problems with? do you have any CD Image tool to open it or load it, like isobuster or daemontools?

if not, get them from the net; or try to burn the image to a CD-RW,
then explore the CD and find the movie...

No, didn't have any problems with the bin.
I just wanted to convert it to mpeg with vcdgear, but i didn't work.
But i'll leave it in bin format and watch it with windvd via deamontool.

well,

once you load the .bin with daemontools, explore the folders and look for the movie file, it should be a few hundred megas; copy it to your hard disk and rename the extention to .mpg if it's not already. Like VCD or SVCD, the format should be mpg (someone correct me if I'm wrong), only with different resolution and bitrate.
