Question The Cricket or watch paint dry thread?

I was also going to include, watch concrete set, but I thought that would be too much. So what's your pleasure, step up & speak your peace?

EDIT: BTW I forgot to mention if blu or Paglamon come around, don't tell them I started this thread.

I think that in most cases as far as sports is concerned, as a kid growing up, you tend to watch or are interested in sports that if you participate in them, you are okay or fairly good at. So I have to admit that as a cricket player, I sucked, even as a golfer, I sucked even worse. Of course I could be totally wrong & full of sh1t.

@ uufta, LMFAO.

From what I've seen, watching cricket is like dropping acid and then watching baseball....

Well as most people know I still play every weekend in the summer. I finally retired from first team cricket at the end of last summer and now i'm vice-captain of the second II.
Played against a few pro's in my time; Jimmy Adams (WI), Daryl Tuffey(NZ), Chris Rogers (Aus) and a few other English county players. All far too good for me!!!

It must be an exciting game as only the British Commonwealth seems to play it!

Uninformed North Americans who can only sit for a few hours at a time and watch a game that has almost zero strategy in it whatsoever (having said that, I actually like baseball ... a bit).

Soup - you are marked, laddie (and please tell petunia that it is way past time that she messed up the quiz!!!!!)

Regards

I have seen quite a few golf, baseball and football movies that I liked, even one or two soccer movies, however I can't remember seeing a cricket movie, except for the one character

Every cricket match is a movie in itself.( Does it sound too philosophical ? )
