Hi Arlo. Welcome. If I'm not mistaken that's a LG drive. I can tell by the 1st letters. Have you tried seeing if your firmware for the burner is up to date? If you haven't already download ImgBurn. It's free and a great burning application. It'll tell you exactly what drive you have, and your firmware. It also has a option to check for firmware updates which most likely will lead you to HQ Firmware which also is run by Lightning UK, author of ImgBurn.

www.ImgBurn.com You can also check if there are any filters that need be deleted. Any ?'s you can post here as always, or also go to ImgBurn's forum. Either place you'll be taken care of.

Oh, and if it's a older drive ide, you might want to make sure the jumpers are set correctly to either master or slave. If it's a sata drive, go into Bios, and make sure everything's ok there as well.
