Default DVD Will Play in PC, Not with TV DVD Player

I just created my first DVD with DVD Rebuilder and used Folder2ISO for the ISO creation (brand new computer). I then used DVD Decrypter to burn the ISO to a DVD-R which I have always used in my Panasonic TV DVD player. The DVD will play fine in my HP Computer but when I put it in my Panasonic DVD player it says "this type of disk cannot be played Please insert a different disk". I use Sony DVD-R's 16X but brunt at 8X and I have never had this problem with these DVD's when using DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter? The Panasonic player has never given me this message.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

AV

Default Brand New DVD's

I just took the DVD off the spindle and it looked clean when I put in DVD burner to burn it. I will clean it and check it out, I am now encoding the same DVD with Shrink and creating an ISO for DVD Decrypter for burning, to see if I have the same problem with this disk.

Thanks,

Default Ok

Cleaning didn't solve the problem, plays fine in PC, not on TV player. Will see how this DVD turns out then try IMGBURN.

Thanks,

Default Shrink/DVD Decrypter

The DVD Shrink/DVD Decrypter burnt ISO plays fine on TV machine. Might have had a bad DVD in the spindle. Looking at the DVD burn't side looks OK, is there a way to check the burnt DVD for problems to confirm a bad DVD?

Thanks,
AV

Default Ver 1.3

Yes I think it is ver1.3 for Folder2ISO. I have never used IMGBURN, I can make an ISO from my output folder of DVDRebuilder then bun with IMGBURN? I have some more reading to do.

Thanks,
AV

Default ISO Creation with ImgBurn??

Fast Eddie, I just read the ImgBurn guide and I don't see how to make a ISO file for burning from my DVD Rebuilder Output folder. I used the Folder2ISO program to make the one that wouldn't play in my TV player, but it worked in my PC DVD-ROM. You mentioned to remove Folder2ISO and replace with ImgBurn??? Any more info.??

Don't bother - outout to files (no ISO) and just use ImgBurn in build mode. Guides on the ImgBurn Forum site.

Default Worked

Thanks discman, I used ImgBurn to make the ISO from my DVD Rebuilder folder and then burnt it with IMgBurn. Could I have just taken the DVDRB Output folder files from my HDD and used DVD Decrypter to make the ISO then change DVD Decrypter to write mode to write the ISO file? As in ISO read, ISO write

Thanks everyone!!!

No need for ISOs. ImgBurn burns files. Direct to the device. Read the guides.
