Default help?

can someone help by telling me which encoder is best in dvd rebuilder (for a 3 hour movie) - if its cce, I dont get what settings I should use for vbr_bias and qual_prec, and what avs filters I should use for this

Each encoder has its supporters. There's a very current thread going if you care to look.

The default settings in DVD Rebuilder are designed to give you a good backup.

Don't use any - the sources you showed need none IMO.

I agree don't use any on this movie.You can use shrink and make yourself a 5-10 min clip with different movies and experiment with filters thats how I learned

Your sources do not require any further processing but you might want to add removegrain(mode=2), helps in the compression and higher bitrates.
