    PowerDVD Ultra 7.3 Full Screen?

    Hi

    i'm running a MCE 2005. ATI 2400 Pro and a 50" 1080p samsung

I have a XBOX 360 HD-DVD rom plugged into the MCE, and works and i can open the folder.

Powerdvd will playback, but it is windowed ..even in full screen

I have set the options for HD not wide or SD or anything.

WMP11 plays back WMV-HD at full screen
    My PS3 is perfect too.

I have the DVI-HDMI cable and even MCE plays HD rip of Matrix perfect too.

So... any suggestions why I can't get Transformers to play in Full screen?

    Thanks in advance.

Did you ever figure out this problem? I'm having the same issue with hddvd/bluray playback in PowerDVD 7.3 Ultra for any build after 2830. I'm running XP, ATI Radeon 2600XT, and Catalyst 8.1 (I've tried different versions).

Any information on what you found would be greatly appreciated.

VLC doesn't do Avivo acceleration to my knowledge, which I definitely want, and powerdvd has the best playback.

That said, yes, VLC, all other applications, powerdvd for non bluray/hddvd, and powerdvd build 2830 all display fine. It's only bluray/hddvd in powerdvd 3319a and up that have the inproper border around the picture.

PowerDVD Full screen problem with laptop

          Hi All,
          I have Dell LAPTOP studio15 T6600. with XP/SP2
I got Power DVD 8.2 pre installed.
I got a surprise with following behavior in two different scenarios.

          Scenarios 1
Plug in the power cable to Laptop and play the DVD
Result :--- It will display full screen view (i.e. with two horizontal border at top and bottom as usually seen on TV.)

          Scenarios 2
With out plug in power cable (on Battery) Laptop and play the DVD
Result :--- It will display screen view with 4 border (i.e. with two horizontal border at top and bottom two vertical border right and left side of the actual view.)

If you plug in power cable again it will show in full screen mode. As explained in 1 case.

Is it related with power option on the laptop.
Please help me out . why this happens.
