That's the second time in a few days that I have heard Spyware Terminator recommended, it might be worthwhile looking in to, thanks BR7. I guess we can also add ClamWin to the list.

Just set it up & integrated Clam, thanks BR7. I ran a check because I already had Clam installed when I installed ST for the first time. So I uninstalled ST & then Clam, then reinstalled ST C/W the integaration. So I guess you don't need Clam installed because it comes with ST. Now I am wondering, does it come with or do you need Clam installed?

You don't need to install it seperately, if you choose the integration, it installs it as part of the installation procedure.

I guess I have an offtopic question here. I put in a nice CA antivirus and took a look at my CPU usage and Memory consumption. Right now I have a 512MB RAM in my comp and am using about 400 of it. How the hell can I shut stuff down and what is safe to shut down. I run Vista Basic Home.

Also, how do I copy an image of my task manager so I can post it on here?

Download PhotoFiltre. When you launch Task Manager, click Alt/Printscreen to capture active window. Launch PhotoFiltre, right click in open window, paste as new image & then save as jpg or png.

AVG anti virus 7.5.446 is completely free now.
Also AVG anti virus - 60 days trial. After that, Freeware version will still continue to run.

Am I ....too late for this????

                            anyway,
