@PA, it does look from the info at dpreview that S9100 does not have any option of changing lenses(as Bill7621 pointed out).Have you got hold of the cam yet? If yes, then, how is the experience?

I will let you know once I get it and post a pic or 2. Yes then main lens wont come off there are many attachment lenes to attach to it though as all of the digital camera except the Real High end cameras which rang from 4 to 8,000$ I am also waiting on a few other lenses that didnt come with the package. I will keep you posted on the quality of the camera.

        Nikon D70

My best camera is the Nikon D70 kit with zoom lens

6.1 MP (GB drive extra). Unfortunately it connects to the PC using USB instead of Firewire. On the plus side if you don't use the pop-up flash it places very little load on the battery.

It's one thing to get cameras. Getting models is the difficulty. All the hot babes want to see who you've photographed before!! So you can never get the first one to pose!!!

It is a nice camera. With the zoom lens it's pretty heavy though. Can't exactly stick it in your pocket in case a nice photo opportunity presents itself.

                    Thank you,

I was rather impressed with the quality of video considering this isnt a camcorder. Anyways for those that want to see more fireworks I have a Fireworks thread for the 4th of July here:

Got something to say, but it's not related to anything else here? This is where it goes ...

                      Hi,

I have the same camera, too and I love mine. Its compact and allows you to do most anything. Got mine brand new on Ebay for $99.99. I do like the newegg site though.

                              Here is my new toy:

                              EOS 30D

I'm using the Tamron 17-50, 2.8 most of the time and bought a 55-200, 4.5-5.6 as well.

Still waiting for the battery grip BG-E2, a remote release and the display protection

UncasMS - How does it compare to the Rebel? I am almost ready to buy a new camera and am torn between the Rebel and the Nikon D40. I know the Canon is less expensive and is almost as good as the Nikon, but I hadn't considered what you have.
