beautiful rose you got there, delex

if i were you i'd try objects like yours with a little less sharpness for the background.
reducing the depth of focus could be achieved with an open aperture (smaller number) when taking the picture or later on with digital manipulation like in this case:

    @ uufta

you must be an animal tamer in your spare time ^_~
    wonderful pictures you took

btw: after downsizing the pictures (to 1024 x 683 in your case) i'd always sharpen them before saving to jpg

UncasMS - Any way you can fix this photo? I'd really appreciate it. This was me at 5 in the back of my mom's old wagon. I have a pic of my 5 yr old daughter in almost the exact same pose, and neither of us would let our balloons go ... LOL

Vista finally spit my old photo proggy out and I haven't been able to figure out PS6. It's hit and miss for me ...

We got about 8-9 inches of snow last night and when I looked out the back door I seen some deer. This was the best picture I could get I wish I had a better zoom.Actually this was the only picture I could get, because as soon as she seen me in the door she took off LOL. I put the red highlight around the one that blended in the woods

A pic from my recent vacation tour. That partially frozen lake is at an altitude of nearly 14000 ft.

You better feed the deer properly the next couple of weeks and you'll be able to to take more pix

                    @ Paglamon

@ UncaseMS - is that a TY??? LOL You caught that perfectly ...

I was in Beverly Hills and saw this church tower. It wasn't the tower that was interesting but the window. I caught it the best I could, but it still wasn't good enough. So I did a little PhotoShopping. Moral of the story, don't snap and drive ...
