A quick and simple question for any experienced Imageburn user

Chewy, the Avi2dvd iso files are still there, I just was'nt sure for future reference if dvd shrink would actually replace Avi2Dvd?Please forgive my ignorane,I'm kinda new to the whole burning thing.

In this case you are just trying to use shrink to join 2 titles into one dvd compliant file, shrink is mainly used to transcode(compress) dvd's down to a size that will fit a single dvd(single layer).

Thats basically what I want to do.The ISO's in question are roughly around 1.5 gigs.Does this mean that I will get at least 2, maybe 3 of the ISO's onto 1 disc without actually compressing them? Also, is there a maximum size that you can compress? i.e if I wantes to put say 6 of these files onto 1 4.7 gig DVD-r, can it be done? is there a huge loss in quality?

You'd probably be safe with 3-4 1.5 gig files per dvd, but past that shrink takes too long to compress and you will lose quality unless you enable
AEC and DA, whole nother can of worms.
Blanks are cheap.

Leave them out of the equation at first, they are in the backup window from shrink, da(deep analysis) and aec(adap erro corr?) are for compressions where you take 5-6 gigs and compress.

Here's an idea - if your ISOs are of DVDs (I'm not sure whether you have them successfully converted yet), you can mount them with daemon tools.

Copy the DVD files into folders.

Now either use this guide or DVD Remake Pro to put the both onto the one DVD (the latter does it in one click keeping menus of both DVDs but the former is freeware).

Blutach, the ISO's are of tv programmes I've saved.I've managed to use Dvdshrink and got three episodes onto one disc, which is a big imrovement on just one per disc.It is a long process though,using the three different programs.

Well, as I said, DVD Remake Pro makes it a breeze. You just click a coupla times and export the project. Budda bing, budda boo.

Consider the investment if you have a lot of these to do.

Blutach, thanks for all the help.I think I'll stay with the present set-up, at least I have a handle on it now and I know it works.That DVD Remake Pro looks good, though, and its not a bad price either.
