hi i need help on how to make a regular 2 audio channel dvd to a 5.1 surround sound dvd i want to edit my wedding dvd to a surround 5.1 channel dvd can anyone give me a hand on this

The audio has to be encoded with 5.1 surround, for it to be actual 5.1 surround.

Use either Sonic Foundry SoftEncode (if you can find it) or, if I remember correctly, BeSweet...

BeSweet can certainly do it. Also, try the light version called Belight. It is much easier to use and does the same job.
