    Upgrading Gordian Knot

If I'm going to upgrade Gordian Knot, should I uninstall everything from the old version, or is it okay to install over it. Or maybe I should just stick with the version I have, since it's already working?

Just install the new version, on top of the old, or in another folder.
Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.

question is WHY do you want to upgrade?

gk has not really been updated for ages.

it does not support OGG VORBIS for audio or Divx 5.0.3 as video codec.

it does not support resizer like Lanczos, which is the my favourite resizer, nor a noise filter like Convolution3D, which let you create awesome 1cd rips when used in combination.

it does not provide any decent script-editor

it wont let me save my prefered profiles for audio/video

DVX does all this and much more:

          i did of course

but DVX is more advanced and offers much better options since gk has not been worked on (at least the latest version availalble is quite out-of-date in terms of latest filters/options)
