    Problems with VirtualDub Audio Processing

I have a freshly installed machine with win2k, Virtualdub 1.5.1, divx4.12 and the standard tsunami filter pack 393 installed. I have some settings for encoding I use to tweak my video captures, and brought them over to this system from another. I compress the video with divx 4.12 and the audio using the dvix audio codec. This works fine on my old system, but every time I set the audio compression on the new one it changes to the same setting using the Windows Media Audio V2 codec (does that make sense?).

Basically, if I choose divx audio - 32 kbps, 22 kHZ, stereo, it will change to Windows Media Audio V2 - 32 kbps, 22 kHZ, stereo (which produces a disgusting result). The old machine doesn't even list WMA, and it's bee a while, I may have done some things different that solve this. Any Ideas?

Install the DivX v.3.11alpha codec, which will automatically install the DivX audio codec...
