    Video to DVD

    I have soem video files i want to transfere to dvd. I followed the avi to dvd guide but virtualdub wont open the files. it says they are divx do i need a filter or something? i tried to right click to see properties but it says there are none to be showen on any of my video files. thanks

    What codec did you use to create the videos? That should be the only codec you need to convert them too.

    Can you play the videos?

      Hi WhiteKnight,

      To be certain what kind of codecs to open your files, you should download and use a free program called GSpot

      If a DivX codec needed, download it from here:
      Free Download DivX Free 5.2.1 : DivX is the latest version of the codec DivX 5, the best and the most used codec in the world!


      If a Xvid codec needed, download the Xvid 05-04-05 from here:
