    Uploaded 6_16

    Implemented Dirio_49's request (I don't seem to have broken anything)

    A bunch of tinkers to the System menu color (none of which really does anything)
    I'm shooting blind -- No Matter what color I select here it works in all testbeds white black doesn't matter

    Even downloaded the Testbed from site -- Still works here All colors, All Options

    jinjin_jp
    I allow selection of black as color then If its less then 25 I stomp it to 25

    Why the
    Recolor Bitmap
    square in that string are you actually seeing that in the GUI

    Select and highlight colors can't be black (I Kick a Warning)

      Jinjin_jp ,Tetsuro_ja

      Now Heres a silly question (I already know the answer -- Just confirming something)

      On your systems when you create a "bmp" file is your extension .bmp or the japanese string for ".bmp"

      I Know it sounds silly but it really matters for tetsuros request

        I confirmed Uploaded 6_16.
        The problem about "black" is fixed. It is correctly visible as black.
        But the problem about "white" remains. Color is not changed.

        On your systems when you create a "bmp" file is your extension .bmp or the japanese string for ".bmp"
        It is the files involved in installed file.

        I allow selection of black as color then If its less then 25 I stomp it to 25
        I confirmed it. (It is not only black but also other colors.)

        Regards.

          Thanks for TestBed6_16.

          As jinjin_jp said, black is fixed but white seems to be not fixed.
          I tried TestBed6_16 by using both English and Japanese bitmap sets.
          The English bitmap set is included in TW 4.32.
          The Japanese bitmap set is here.

            Okay the current Blend is xor
            so white xor anything comes out white
            Are you currently getting invisible buttons

              yellow => not change
              gray => not change
              (2)some are incorrect
              blue => black
              purple => brown
              pink => red
              light green => green
              light blue => green
              (3)some are correct
              are correct
              black => black
              red => red
              brown => brown
              green => green
              orange => orange
              (Color may not be accurate because by my eyes.)

                  I used Uploaded 6_16_2.

                  The color setting of bitmap buttons works well.
                  Using other langage(Japenese) as text buttons works well, too. It is very convinient.
                  very much.

                  Regards.

                      I experienced the same things at first. (not close but run)
                      You should paste MenuStrings.txt from installed file to Tools folder.
                      By editing MenuStrings.txt, text butons can be favorite language.

                      Regards.

                        Thanks for 6_16_2.

                        I confirmed that the bipmap color issue was fixed and text strings of text buttons could be changed. I like 6_16_2.

                        On MakeMenu icon pressed --
                        If there is no MenuStrings.txt in Tools folder, the message 'Error reading language File -- MakeManu fatal exit' pops up and then menu creation starts forcedly. Of course, the created menus are incomplete.

                        Regards

                          I still, get the same after I paste the MenuStrings.txt in the tools folder.
                          it closes after I click Make menu

                          I just used the one that came with the titlewriter zip.
                          Here is what the log says

                          Edit, not it works. The stupid firewall was blocking some stuff. Sorry

                          BTW
                          would it be possible to select the Menubotton and background in the same way we select the thumbnail. To give use a chance to pick different pictures
                          to have a slider,this would be useful when you select a VOB as an background or menubotton image.

                          thanks

                            Its a fast/dirty way to support another language -- Typically you edit the exe string space (or the source itself)
                            I'm not sure I like this method. to many ways the user can screw up that file
                            --I'm thinking maybe a file might be better with a dialog to alter strings within it -- its all those language codes -- Ouch

                            It currently doesn't support audio/subtitle string renaming

                            Other Language Users should probably rename the bmp resources you/I created to match the strings in that file

                            Are you fixed Does you request Work??

                            Ps TW should be installed in a folder that does not contain spaces. Sometimes it matters for no apparant reason
                            (Another incredibly stupid MS idea spaces in paths)

                              yes, but it if I choose a VOB as the background or menubutton,
                              first I have no way to see what frame I chose
                              and second now if I chose a Vob as a background, the menubutton and the background all the take the same Frame as the thumbnail.
                              No idea if that is what you indented to do.

                              Thanks

                              it works if i put my own BMP in there, but I was thinking if you could implement the same mechanism that you use to chose the thumbnail, for backround and menubotton.

                              thanks

                                what you can do is make english the default and every time titlewriter is started if the file does not exist you create the file with the english defaults.
