Thanks for TestBed6_18.

6_18 is best for me.
It becomes unnecessary to push 'Alter DvD Menu Color, Style Options' everytime.
It becomes very easy to use TW.

That was a bug (and still is in 6_18)
Nothing I changed would cause that shift in behavior
Its those deep routines in MS I mentioned earlier -- they don't preform consistently from compile to compile
I've reinforced next testbed to eliminate the behavior you described

Sorry I misunderstood. Not changed as you say.

*check off "Create Movie Chapter/Setup/Audio/Menus" and "Apply To All Movies".
*check on only Movie01.
*"Alter DVD Menu Color, Style Options" and change setting of font.
*click "Font" and "ok"
then disappear check of Movie01.

Don't get to accustomed to menustrings as is -- I'm working on a ver that also changes language string codes (used in vts setup menus)

Do "DTS" "AC3" etc Have Japanese equivalents -- And would you use them
(I'm Quite sure the answer is yes to both --just checking)

I Assume I can get away with the numbers 1,2,3,4,5 ... yes or no

Its bad but not that bad

I've created a little editor to do it safely

Most of the strings are Language codes

I mean how many dvd's will you encounter in Say Japan with xhosa or Zulu as a subtitle or audio (You only need to translate the majors)

And once done If the file is fed back to me -- I'll copy those files into TW's release/tools folder -- and let the user change "Menu Language folder" at will via option in settings.
This way all users within a "language" benefit instead of each user having to do it

(Don't try to use edited file in current TW ver -- Bad things will happen)
or you can use a word processor (just don't touch left of the ,)

Hi, FA.

Two sets of numbers, i.e. Arabic numerals and Chinese numerals, are often used in Japan.
I think it is better to change numbers according to the contents of DVD-video.

Then you will still have to create 2 files to cover that situation later or keep editing the japanese file over and over and over
(Breaks This monkeys Do it once and get it over with rule)


Say Japanese_NumericArab.txt and Japanese_NumericChinese.txt
You can make multiple copies and save by any name (I'll just store all translation files in a folder and let user select )

And since these files are tiny (App 1.32 Kb zipped)--Multiple options per language can easily be stored

And until squish/ddlooping yells at me for abusing storage/ bandwidth (They are hosting TW) I won't worry about it.

PS made a slight error in the string Combo
Chapters,Chapters it should be Chapter,Chapter

If you edit the translation files via built in editor just click through the crap messageboxes at the start --Me debugging

It seems to translate properly here (at least theres no crash)
(No Japanese font on my sys to really tell properly)
