Actually the transfer rate test is perfect. I wonder how much time it require to become a coaster

probably pretty stable, with no real bad clumps, should last a long time with care

I'll try these if I can find some.

My latest "lucky" was to find a genuine Taiyo when I bought a TDK 8x media. There were no indication in the box, no "made in Japan" label. I was curious to try these media, but for 1.70 euro each (about 2.2 USD) these are too much for my wallet

At CDF someone said me that LG drives (both 4163 and 4167) love MBI media. Have you tryied these?

first, they make good verbatims, but mostly sold in europe

MBI is Mosch Baer India(they are big)

I saw also some Ricoh branded MBI media.

These are imation ones (same mediacode)

that's a good sign, Ricoh switching from Ritek, they might save their name after all

I need to buy some media soon. Maybe I'll include these in my order (I must ask to my wallet first )

The process used here was, Dvd Decrypter / MenuShrink but restored backup because the savings were neglible / FixVts / Dvd Shrink, full disc, 100% / ImgBurn @4X. The error appeared when verifying.

This process was, Dvd Decrypter, because the first log was clear, straight to / Dvd Shrink, full disc, 100% / ImgBurn. (No error).
