Trouble with Nero 7/Roxio DVD burning

Usually if anything is wrong the firmware flasher will tell you that's not the right firmware for the drive and refuse to do anything. Burning dvd's and flashing firmwares go hand in hand. 6 or 7 times out of 10 I will flash a drive before using it.

I'm still completely lost with the firmware deal.
It's a bin file? and my VLC media player opens it?
I don't know what I'm doing.

It's not that I don't trust anyone's word, I just personally have no idea what I'm doing and trying to avoid messing anything up at all costs.

pesky bin flashes!

http://binflash.cdfreaks.com/

download the win32GUI, put it in the same folder with the bin file,
click it then point out the bin file and bingo it's done
more dellhell

for stock, columbos was easier to use

download liggy's 3.01 RPC1 firmware, there will be a binfile, create a new folder and extract the bin file there, then download the binflash file

http://binflash.cdfreaks.com/

win32gui one, put it in the same folder with the bin file
boot into safe mode and use the binflash and bin file to upgrade your firmware

Can I used another program for burn the DVD... for example Shrink for Copy a Movie??????? Or I have to used de Decrypter for the ISO image?????

I mean... is Nero the problem??? Because I used both (Decrypter and DVD Shrink) and it the same problem.........

But i did what you told me to do... I was in Safe mode... run de bin file and when ask me with wich program i would like to run the file I select the .exe that I unzip..... then I restart the PC...........

What I do wrong?????????

after getting both files in the folder you run the binflasher and then select the bin file, it will ask you to proceed and it will take a minute or so and tell
you to reboot?

also you have to extract the zip files first

Ok.. tell me something... the Binflash is the Win32????? because i do exactly what you tell me to do and when i click to open de Binflash open so fast and do nothing else......
