    nvidia...

This is the last time i buy anything off of nvidia ever except maybe a video card. Their tech support is a ****ing joke, 4 days and I don`t get a response, WTF?!!?

i give up, minus a format (which i need to do but can`t since their software was activated and I don`t have a CD for it) i can`t figure out how to fix it without their help.

I don't even like the Nvidia cards! I have a GeForce 2 MMX 400 and everytime I try to update the driver (and yes I uninstall the old one) my screen goes blank. My next card that I am getting here pretty soon will be a ATI All-In-Wonder 9700!

Just keep your serial download the trial then register it with your serial.

here is the thing there is no serial, they didn`t give me one. It activates itself when u purchase it without a serial and says if u move it another computer you will lose the full version.

Um did you have to register as a user or anything? If you did maybe that could carrry the information. You are getting into things I am starting to lose ideas

Well, last year I had a version of NVDVD and had the exact same problem... I also had PowerDVD XP and WinDVD 4 installed. The only solution I found to my problem was using DVDGenie. I unregistered the other programs' filters and after that, all 3 programs worked perfectly!
What's the name of the program you downloaded?

its not the newest driver, but it fixes this problem quickly...

also, windows update usually gets the latest certified drivers

I have the same problem too. But I am not using DVDGenie, but I DVD Region Killer installed. But I don't have it turned on all the time. Doesn't it make any different? Will I be able to use the same solution to solve this problem?
