nero vision express works well for converting all types of video files to dvd, it is also not free though.

virtual dub (IIRC ver 1.3c) allows you to work with wmv files. You might have to
1.extract the audio and video from the file
2.encode the the video and audio seperately
3.check to see that the audio and video are of the same length and correct if need be
          4. mux the audio/video back together.

you go to the section "make dvd", then hit add files, browse to your files, add them in, next you get a preview of the dvd, hit next and write. If the finished product is smaller than 4.35GB, you can burn it directly to a dvd, if not run the finished files through dvd shrink to squash it down, then burn.

                Hope this helps,

                Joe.

You have to convert the wmv files to dvd files. Use Nero Vision Express for this, then use whatever dvd burning software you have to write them to a dvd. Did you convert the wmv's to dvd or just try to burn the wmv's directly on to a disc?
