    I can't burn any dvd

    I am using Xp, 2.0 gig cpu, 1 gig of ram.
    Lately i have been having a lot of problems making any movies at all. I have dvd shrink, dvd fab, and dvd decrypt.
    The only way that i can copy a movie to a dvd is by using a re-writable dvd + or - dvd.
    I copy the dvd with dvd shrink and i think it is coping it to the 4x, 8x or 16x dvd, but i am wasting a lot of dvd's, because it will not burn on to my dvd. ?
    I also use nero 6.6. on 1 computer and nero 6.3 on the other computer and i still am having problems on both computers.
    I have updated both dvd burner for the laster software.

              it's just about gotta be some off the wall media, that's a benq 1640 and they like very good media, no crap at all

                  I can't burn any dvd

                  Hello;
                  I am very new to the forum and i am having all kinds of trouble with trying to burn a dvd.
                  My operating system is XP - Pro. with 2.0 gig cpu and 1 gig of ram.
                  All of a sudden i can't burn a dvd using dvd Shrink , dvd Fab or dvd Decrypt. Also i am using Nero 6.3 and i have tried to update nero to 6.6. and it will not work with dvd Shrink . I keep on getting error's when i try to use dvd shrink with nero 6.6.
                  I delete nero and dvd shrink to try for another install , but i still CAN'T burn a dvd ?
                  I have tried using 4x, 8x and 16x in order to burn a good dvd, but the only way that i can burn a dvd is by using a re-writeable one.

                              I am using office max 16x and hp 8x and optimun 4x blanks. Another question if i may ask.
                              How do you get the FBI notices out of the dvd before you burn them ?
