subtitles

Hello,

I want to make my onw subtitels in dutch for some cartoons of ducktales.

I know about .srt and files and how they work and how to get it on the video.
But my question was, is there e more easy way to insert the timing in it or do I have to type it manualy, I hope not.

maybe you could use any other languge and the simply exchange the subtitles with your dutch ones.
this way the timecodes should be given.

Yust one little problem, there aren't any subtitle available that's why i want to make them but i found a graet program to do this it's calles subtitle tool , maby i could be useful to other mambers here as well
