In virtualdub you OPEN VIDEO FILE to select your first clip and for every clip after that you select APPEND TO VIDEO. This will put the next clip right at the end of the first clip. But the only thing is that the audio has to be the same format on all clips and the video has to be converted with the same codec and be the same bitrate.
