That's good to know I just wasn't sure if it would mess with it in some way doing a full DVD because I just did a partial when I posted my stills

I did some test with DVD-RB and AutoQmatenc, see results below:

        Common configuration
Desktop: Pentium 4, 1.6 Ghz, 512 Mb RAM
        Source time: 78 min
        Source Size: 4.33 GB
        Avisynth Version: 2.5.6a
        AVSoptions: AVS = Lremovedust_YV12(17,1), MPEG2source(idct=7)
        DVD-RB Free v0.96
        Compression used :[/B] 99.5%
        VirtualdubMod(to capture screen)
        Irfanview(to join captures)

        Test Case A

        Tools Used:
        AutoQmatEnc 032b
        Mode : 2 Pass VBR, VBR Bias = 25, Quality Prec = 16
        Encoded Size: 4.17 GB
        Time taken : 153 min

        Test Case B

        Tools Used:
        AutoQmatEnc 033b
        Mode : OPV (w/analysis), VBR Bias = 25, Quality Prec = 16
        Encoded Size: 4.22 GB
        Time taken : 76 min

        Now for the results:

All Captures are joined Horizontally as

        Original Video<---+--->Test Case A Video<---+--->Test Case B Video

So now I let your eyes be your Judge on the quality with the two tests.

Although personally speaking there is very little difference between both test case Quality but a considerable time gain by using OPV. Quality Gain incomparison to the Original source is due to the AVS script also.

Well I couldn't get QmatOP going using CCEAQM=1. I wrote SAPSTAR to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong but he hasn't got back to me yet

I just got an email back from SAPSTAR as tech stated CCEAQM=1 is to be used with DVD Rebuilder PRO.But QmatOP can work with DVD Rebuilder 0.96 here is what he wrote
                In order to
use this feature you have to use a pro version DVDRB. Otherwise, you have to
PREPARE, then edit REBUILDER.ECL and replace
adjust_q_matrix=0 by adjust_q_matrix=1. (All occurences must be replaced)

Use the 0.33.0.1 ver available from the Beta testing page, since the existing version has some bugs related to bitrate allocation and OPV doesnt work.

I used Notepad to open it, its like a text file only but with a .ECL extention.

Why ???, open the ECL file in Notepad press Ctrl+H (edit->replace), copy the "adjust_q_matrix=0" into the find tab and then put "adjust_q_matrix=1" in the replace tab. Press "Replace all" button. Takes 2 sec.

I noticed there are more than 1 ECL file and contain the same parameter, try replacing this in all of them.
