still cannot get rid of floating decimal...

I've been using TMPGEnc v2.52 for about a week with absolutely no problems, but this morning I began to receive the error "Floating decimal point is divided by 0," and have not been able to encode anything since. I followed the guide on how to fix the "illegal floating decimal point" error, but that did nothing to fix my problem. I've tried reinstalling it, tweaking settings, everything - it seems that my floating decimal error is here to stay, even after several fresh installs. If no one has an answer to this, can someone at least point me in the direction of a good, reliable alternative program?
