    Karaoke VCD Compilation

Hi people, I have bought a few karaoke VCDs and I would like to make another VCD which contains some compilations so that I do not need to carry so many discs, just 1 disc will do. I do not know how to convert .dat files back to .mpg and regroup them and later recreate a VCD with them. Any ideas? Thanks.

Simply extract the .dat from the cd and save it (rename) as a .mpg file on your hard drive.
Did you know you can SEARCH the forum? Fixes common problems too:

Also search on the whole Digital-Digest website:

I tried to copy those *.dat files into my hard drive, no good, just cannot copy over. Access deny and copying stops.

Someone told me to try VCDGear and Nero to burn, successful. Cheers.
