    AVI to VCD conversion

I have an avi file that is titled "filename.divx.avi" Now this plays fine in media player but i can't seem to burn it to VCD.

how do you convert AVI to VCD.

I have tried TMPgenc but it crashed halfway thorugh. It was asking for video input and audio input but only have 1 avi file.

Any ideas on how to convert a sinlge avi file to VCD.

that doesn't matter. It will encode the audio and video, no worries. unless it is a VBR mp3 file, then it will most likely work.

some great guides are available at www.dvdrhelp.com/tmpgenc

Use tmpgenc and if you open your avi.file in "videoinput" the audiofile will be opened automatically (you can see it in "audio input",thats the audiopart!)...make your settings, browse to save your mpeg outputfile and start encoding.Thats all
