VCD won't play past menu

I used Nero to burn a VCD and everything went smoothly until I put it in my DVD player. The menu came up then I couldn't do anything. I don't know if the problem is with my DVD player or with the VCD, but my DVD player has played VCDs fine before, only those didn't have menus. Anyone know what might be causing this?

First make sure that Enable menu at Nero VCD option had been disable !
Create as an ISO 9660 format and uncheck all ISO relaxation option.

Make sure too that your DVD Player capable to read CD-R/RW disc (Can be found at DVD player manual) ! Some DVD Player can't read CD-R/RW disc.

Yea ive had the same problem with Nero made vcd menus. The only way i can get it vcd to play is disable the menu in the dvd player settings.
