    DVD to DivX (custom size)

    Hi

I am looking for a tool through which I can rip DVD's.

Condition : I can define a custom size of output file (AVI) and the software/tool should automatically adjust the bitrate/resolution e.t.c to make the divx/AVI as per the desired output size.(no bigger then that)

Is anyone aware of such tool ?

    Thanks
    Raggy

I have just tried Magic DVD Ripper and found it relatively easy to use (I'm a complete newbie at this) - except for the section where you specify split more. It was left to infinite thinking it would convert all 1 hour 17 mins. The bulk of it was converted but I'm wondering why the remaining 5-10 mins or so wasnt done? If I'd changed it to custom, what should I specify for total MB size as I've no clue

I was trying to convert DVD to AVI.

I have tried to paste the screenshot on here but it doesnt work. Is there a knack to it? I've got the screen shot in a word document but I thought I could paste it here.

Would the codec setting be out of date or something?

It was WMM, not all the frames were in the clip I wanted to make.
