Motion Vectors in MPEG-4

Hello people,
I m doing a project in Multimedia security of MPEG-4 videos. I basically needed to know about motion vectors. Can anybody help me with a program that retrieve to me motion vectors or just display them on screen. I want to know how exactly motion vectors are stored to do predictive coding.
