    Having problems joining avi with Virtual Dub (Audio problems)

    I am trying to join two avi files, but when I do I get an error saying "Cannot append segments: The audio streams have different sampling rates (17471.00000 vs. 18030.00000)". How would I correct this problem? What tools would I use and how do I use them?

    For EACH of the two files, do the following:

    1) Load file into VirtualDub
    2) Set "Video" to "Direct Stream Copying"
    3) Set "Audio" to "Full Processing Mode"
    4) From the "Audio" dropdown menu, select "Compression"
    5) Select 22,050Hz
    6) From the "Audio" dropdown menu, select "Conversion"
    7) If necessary, put a checkmark next to "Display all formats"
    8) Select your preferred sampling rate from amongst the 22,050Hz .MP3 rates listed
    9) Click on "OK"
    10) Save with a new filename

    Let us know of your success ;>}

              LOL yes my thoughts exactly.

              We have been blessed by the most active poster ever, in a mere 6 hours he's posted 50 messages. At this rate he'll overtake me well before X-mass.

              Unfortunatly the quality of Kevin AMD's messages leave quite alot to be desired.

                I never thought someone could actually more bold and blatant than Techno himself! To exactly copy someone else's own words and paste it as his own words....
