    ifo edit

    Hi guys,

I'm at a loss. I have taken a DVD and chopped it up (to remove certain parts of the movie). I then rejoined the vob files back into four vob files called by their original names VTS_01_1...

The problem is, I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the reference to VTS_01_0 (which is the .vob file that brings up the menu when you play the DVD), and for some reason, the movie appears to jump around. All I want to do is to somehow have my ifo file let the dvd player know to start with file VTS_01_1 and end with VTS_01_4, and play from beginning to end...no menu -- Unless there is a way to update the points in the movie that the menu would reference, as they changed due to my chopping.

    Thanks!

If you have a directory containing nothing but the VOBs you want to play (VTS_01_1 to VTS_01_4), then start IfoEdit 0.95 and look at the middle bottom, you will see a button to create IFO files. Press that, and point it at your first VOB VTS_01_1.VOB. It should create the IFO files you need to play your movie.
