    newbie alert need help.

    Hi All,
I wondering whether anyone could advise me as to the best software for the following. -

I have a digital terestrial tv adapter in my computer which i record tv programs and movies to my hardrive. They are encoded as an mpeg2 file nice and easy with video and sound all bundled into one tidy file. The quality is superb. However i want to now burn the odd recording to dvd-r using my burner. What is the best software out there that will basically adapt the mpeg2 file so it will play on a stand alone dvd player.

    Thanks Jeremy

if money is not a problem then you may try sonic scenarist - it provides nearly 100% compatibility with the wide range of standalone dvd players
