    please help on cutting AVI out of keyframes

    Hi,

    I need an AVI to be cut out of the keyframes. I've read I may need to re-process the whole movie and quality may decrease?

    How should I proceed to have a keyframe exactly where I need the file to be cut?
    I'd need it to be about the same in size so I cant add keyframes to each second...

    Thanks!

    P.S.: it would be much appreciated if someone could help me out also with the encoder settings.. so that quality wouldnt have much of an impact.

    1) Load the file into VirtualDub (or any of its variants)

    2) Set "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy"

    3) Set "Video" to "Full Processing Mode"

    4) From the "Video" dropdown menu, select "
    Compression"

    5) Select the "DivX :} MPEG4 Low Motion codec.

    6) Change the keyframe setting to "Every 1 seconds"

    7) Save with a new filename

    Let us know of your success ;>}
