    DVD-Rom problems.

I hope im posting this question in the correct place, If im not, Well im new here so I will learn. 1st, I dont know what kind of DVD-ROM drive I have or how to find out. 2nd, Im using PowerDVD 3.0 to watch DVD's on the comp. How do I access the special DVD-ROM stuff? I cant figure it out. I also have Interactual Player 2.0, but when I put in Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets for my son , the computer freezes up solid. I hope someone can help me. Thanks

If you want to know what kind of dvd-rom drive i would probably have to suggest you take it out and look on the top of the drive where there should be a label describing the brand and model no.
Or you could take a look at the properties of the drive via explorer.

As for the special dvd features, when powerdvd starts up it should display the menu (same as dvd players) where you can select the special features with the mouse or the powerdvd control pad area.

Finally for the Harry Potter dvd, i'm not sure what's going on there but it's probably better to just have one software dvd player (powerdvd, interactual). Maybe the dvd is not clean or scratched.

    Hope this helps, cheers.
