    AVI to DVD

    I have a problem....

I have a divx file in avi. format., and i have converted it to a m2v. file, and converted the sound to ac3. format.

The i authored it to dvd format with "Tmpgenc DVD Author", leaving me with the files, vob. bub. and ifo.

Then i burn it to a dvd!!

But when i play it back on my dvd player, it stops!!

    Can anybody tell me why?

My dvd player is a pioneer dv-717

It could be any of the following reasons:

    1) You didn't use the proper burning procedure

    2) Your standalone player doesn't accept the TYPE of burnable DVD (DVD-R or DVD+R)

    3) Your standalone player doesn't recognize the BRAND of media
