    xvid with ac3 to dvdr ac3 5.1 ?

    Hi everyone,

I'm new here and i need some help...

I have a Xvid file with ac3 5.1, ( when i play it the sound is a litle bit low ) i take the sound with vdub "direct sound" and rename it in ac3.

Then i fix it in ac3machine to 5.1 . I then use ifoedit to author and put my video file in m2v and this ac3 file and the chapters.

The result is a terrible sound both on my Pc and dvdplayer

What's wrong? codecs? How can i have dolby ac3 5.1 on my dvdr

    Thanks

Use VirtualDubMOD (different than the standard VirtualDub), as follows:

    1) Load your Xvid-.AC3 file

    2) From the "Streams" dropdown menu, select "Stream list"

    3) Highlight (Double-click) your .AC3 audiostream

    4) Select "Demux" (abbreviated form of Demultiplex)

    5) Save with a new filename (with an .AC3 extender)
