dark picture

when playing a DVD my picture is always too dark, i have tried adjusting the brightness/gamma etc nothing seems to work.

i have a Geforce 2 GTS, could it be something to do with the drivers?? or just my monitor is not working properly?

If you have Power DVD go to configuration/video/color control and choose bright.
