I used shrink 3.2 for the first time on 5 DVD-R [ MOVIES] They play fine on my computer. The DVD-Rs wont play on 3 diff TV DVD player. SONY, JVC, and SANYO. Just says no disk or nothing. Why!!! Do I need to buy a new DVD player that plays DVD-+R???? SONY AVD-C70ES and JVC HR-XVC39U

Ok the JVC came back as being able to play DVD+R's. So it should play the disc you burnt to DVD+R. Why its not I don't know.

The Sony only plays DVD-R and DVD-RW, that is why it wouldn't play on that one.

I suggest buying a new DVD player that plays all formats (DVD-R DVD-RW DVD+R DVD+RW). You can pick them up pretty cheap. I bought a Sony for $38. That way you never have to worry about whether or not it will be compatible with your stand alone DVD player.

You never gave me a model # for the Sanyo.
