OK. I have everything ready to go to burn a copy of the movie- I decrypted then used DVD shrink and now I am using DVD Decrypter to burn onto a DVD-R. I do have a burner on my PC.

I 14:42:50 DVD Decrypter Version 3.5.4.0 started!
I 14:42:50 Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 2)
I 14:42:50 Initialising SPTI...
I 14:42:50 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...
I 14:42:50 Found 1 DVD-ROM/CD-RW!

It shows me all this in the log but on the decrypter it tells me:

Device Not Ready (Unable to Recover TOC)


so what do I need to do now? what the heck does that mean?

This is a CD burner and a DVD-Rom (does not burn DVDs) sorry.

You can rip the movie to your HD using DVDD and watch it from the PC but in order to burn to a DVD disc you're going to need a burner.

Yes, I finally figured that out- thank you. I feel like such an idiot. I ran out and bought a DVD writer soon after...now I am in heaven
