    using a dvd+rw

    I want to use DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink to burn a movie to a DVD+RW. I have only used DVD-R disks in the past with mostly success.

    I put the DVD+RW in the burner and Decrypter indicates I need to format the disk. I have never done this before, even though I do have Nero OEM which came with my DVD burner and believe I can format the disk through Nero. I am acquainted with the practice of formating CD-RW disks.

    Once I format the DVD, will Decrypter burn to the DVD like normal? Any special settings I need to know about? Or will I have to use Nero to do the burnining? I have never done it but hope to be able to figure it out.

    This is an experiment to see if my DVD players can handle a DVD+RW. We are going to buy a stand alone DVD burner (uses DVD+R and DVD+RW only), the kind that connects to the tv in order to record tv shows. Want to experiment with media other than the DVD-Rs I have been using.

    Thanks for any info!

    Just answer yes to the question if you want to format the disc. You can use DVD Decrypter for the burning. Use the same settings as you use to use.
