Nero says my recorder does not accept DVD+R. Huh???

Since I started burning DVD's back in May, I've used DVD+R with demos of Nero and have had not problems and my DVDs work great on regular DVD players. But when I down loaded the latest version of Nero a couple of weeks ago something strange happend. The first DVD I burned work perfectly but my next attempts at burning failed. According to Nero, my Sony DVD+,DVD-,CD,DVD-ROM burner only recognizes DVD- media. Huh? I've checked the settings on my burner and it tells me I should have no trouble with ANY kind of media. So why is Nero telling me DVD+ is not acceptable? HELP!

Could you post a log file from Nero ?

To do so, go here: C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero
Look for a file named "NeroHistory.log"
Open that file up and copy the last log in it.
    Then paste it here.

jm, that was "1" of the reasons behind asking for a log.

@jmet - I asked because this is what happens to me when I tried to copy a not full but finalized dvd-r to a dvd+R. In a different forum awhile ago, I asked how come Nero won't do it and a fella using the nic Ismael, a NeroTech, told me it should do it because my burner supported both formats. He told me get the latest Nero Update and fw. I replied I had the latest and never heard from him again.

Edit Nero stated a DVD-R was needed

In the actual log though, it will tell you the format of disc he/she tried to burn to. That is what I was getting at.
