In Batch mode, wrong encoder selected?

I'm new to DVD-RBPro and tonight tried to use Batch processing to convert two discs, in one-click mode. When I set my options, saved the projects, and started RB on its way, the log window said "CCE Basic encoder selected" which is NOT what I'd set (I'd set HC encoder).

I'd abort and try again, to no avail, I always get this message.

I assume it's a bug (RC6) because in fact I do not even HAVE CCE, but am running the conversions as individual projects anyway, rather than risk a problem.

The other item I noticed is that one of the two discs I'm converting I selected AVS options "Convert from 4:3 to 16:9" and no checkbox confirms I made this selection for the VTS.

i have had 3 titles converted via batch last night using cce; before i used a batch with cce and procoder - both worked fine

i'll do a test with hc later on and see what happens

when you open your saved projects do they show hc as encoder?
the batch routine should normally not alter your saved project files

Good question. Wait, there *are no* projects in my DVD-RB PRO folder!? What the...

Turns out to be a PEBCAK error. I'd been setting-up the RB window/options the way I wanted them, then went directly to ADD in the Batch window. Now I know that what I NEED to do, is to first "Save Project" then go to the ADD button and select the project I just made.

It is odd though that RB-PRO let me, without having Saved a project file, click ADD in Batch, name a file, click "Open" in the dialog (yes, this was a clue, it should have said "Save") and then the Batch window had what appeared to be a project in it, and commenced processing. The Batch window should have remained empty I think, instead of giving me the impression there was a valid project in it (it DID appear to be processing in Batch mode!).
