i don't use it, as i never update my BIOS unless there's a problem, or i see something listed in the changelog that may benefit me. eg i had to update mine to get cool 'n' quiet working on my athlon64.

updating the BIOS can easily introduce problems (particularly when using beta versions, which most manufacturers release regularly)...
