Do I need to keep ripped source files before output?

If I have saved the editing project, do I still need to keep the original DVD source files before output? My HDD is running out of space and I need to do some cleanup. Thanks!

of course you need to save the original files before TMPGEnc is finished.

Yes otherwise you will get an error, if you delete TMPGenc wont be able to read them.
If you are running out of space you can put them on DVD+RW as a DATA DVD and work from there.
      Just a tip.
