Problem with playing back up discs

We have backed up a couple of discs and i have played them on the computer at work, they work well but the thing that worries me is that although the audio is great the picture stutters.
Whe i play them on the dvd player or even my mates laptop they play 100% and it is just the work computer. I have tried copying them with Nero and also Imgburn but the result is the same.
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas??
    Thanks Pleople

    Hello,

Have you tried playing your back ups on any stand alone players?

Also what kind of media are you using and how fast are you burning?

You may want to take a look at the Golden rules of buring in my sig.

The reason they might not work very well on your work computer is may the graphics card is not up to playing dvds

If your backups are playing fine on stand alone players I would think the computers you are trying to play them on dont have the spec's needed to play dvd video. (at work, company computers very rarely have the right graphics cards for playing video unless you job at work is video editing.Or something alone those lines.)

The some of the computer we have at work dont even have sound cards.

You should not be watching movies at work anyhow. LOL

The dvd on the computer at work plays proper dvds pefectly, so it can't be the sound card surely. Its only copies it doesn't like.

Maybe a different media would work better with your work computer.
                Try verbatims or TY's
