Nero upgrade 5.5.8.2

Just did upgrade my Nero 5.5.4 to 5.5.8.2
When I'm loading the NERO I can see new version 5.5.8.2 but I don't see any DVD icons in New Compilation. It's look like in previous version :all kind if CD,VCD,SVCD ... but not DVD .
Any ideas ?

here's how, but it may have bugs

I have used the newest NERO, and it is a bit confusing at first. there is a drop down menu (if it starts up in wizzard mode) on the top right side. the menu should have four options, assuming you have a burner. the options are: DVD image, DVD disc, CD image, and CD disc. from there the wizzard walks you through adding your vobs and ifos. I have noticed a lot of bugs in it, however. The problem is that if you want the dvd to play in your set top box, you need to choose the option that says something like "dvd movie files" instead of just a dvd data compilation. when you go to burn the "dvd movie files" compilation, most people are getting an error that says "unexpected exception" or something, myself included. Let me know if you get this or not.

I think I know the problem of my NERO 5.5.8.2.
When I'm starting Nero application it's checking the
SCSI bus and by reason I don't have DVD in my
computer I don't have drop down menu in Wizard for DVD or CD.
I have just standart menu CD,SVCD,VCD and few more.
Am I rigth ?

That's correct

You are right. That would be the reason that you do not have any DVD option. What is it that you are trying to do? from the email you sent, it seemed like you may be wanting to author your own dvds with your camcorder. If this is the case, you may have more luck with dvd workshop (by ulead), dvd it, or something to that effect. Did you say that you already have a pioneer a104, or that you were going to get one?

No, Sergey,

Ther is a bug in nero. even in newest version 5.5.9.17c. I do not have a DVD burner. But I was able to see the DVD compilation options until I upgrated to 5.5.9.17c. Strangely, those DVD options do not come back even I re-install nero 5.5.9.0
