    "The New Release"

http://thenewrelease.com/ Have any of you folks seen these yet? They offer $1.00 a day rentals of new releases from vending machines. I think they are starting them in Kroger (Fred Meyers here in the Paciffic Northwest) and it seems like a pretty cool deal.

Looks like Publix does it near me....I wish we had Krogers, you must be up north. I worked there for 5 years, but none to be found in the south.

Enter you zip code into the box provided and it will tell you the stores that are supported in your area.

The closest store the doesthis near me is a Krogers 45 minutes away, so I think i'll stick to Blockbuster Online.

              this is a awesome service

only bad thing, the kroger store closest to me is slow on
updating their movies. i emailed them about this, and it has
gotten better, and they also gave me 2 free rentals for my
              "inconvience"

if you do alot of older movies, this isn't for you. but if new
releases are what you watch, it's an awesome deal
