How do I do multi session data backup in nero?

Trying to create a data disc in Nero that I can add files to later, but I don't see where I can choose to keep the session open... After I burn the disc, it will not allow me to add files later.

Ok, guess it's not possible - found this.

I thought I used to do it years ago with Roxio, but I guess not...

I thought that there was a option for multi-session before you burn the disc. What version of Nero are you using. I think that I have had made multi-sessions before. But don't remember when you have to select the option.

There has to be a logical explaination to this and I wish I could help you, however, I got rid of Nero because of that problem. Don't get rid of it yet because as I said, there has to be a logical explaination to this. I tried everything when I had that problem. I re-installed Nero. One time I had to format over a different issue and when I had my PC back on track, Nero did the same thing again.

Nero Burning Rom is where the multisession options are...I use Nero 7, but I'm sure 6 (if that is what you use) would be pretty much the same.

Looks like loco got it, but you know you don't have to use nero. Lots of freebies that will create data disk with multisession.

              Loco,

I am using Nero 6 that came bundled with my burners. I looked all over the options, etc., & I don't believe that feature is included with the bundled vers. Guess I will have t ogo w/ a freebie that Dan mentioned.

Ok, I did find in in Nero 6 (bundled). I was looking under "configure", & it is actually on the last step before you press "burn". (in mine anyway) I was certain that I had seen that option before!

                Thanks guys

that's why they call nero bloatware

multisession has issues anyway, after 2 or 3 additions I find the disks likely to screw up
